This is an excellent and thought-provoking essay. You also cite one of my favorite thinkers/dreamers, Gaston Bachelard.
I also thought of Eliade’s idea of “sacred space” (and time) and how our mythologies resonate both across cultures and trans subjectively in our own dreams and daydreams (or directed daydreams).
Now that I now use Kindle Reader more as my NYC apt overflows with books and I am in retirement, I have added your novel to my library.
